Brief Outline
The Department of Political Science, established in 1986, is one of the oldest departments of the College. The vision of the department is to promote a society based on Freedom, Liberty, Justice, Equality and Fraternity and its mission is to produce some conscious Citizens/Leaders responsive to their Rights, Duties and Social Responsibilities. The department has three sanctioned teaching post with students’ strength of near about 290 in UG level and around 260 students in HS level. The department ensures to provide the best to its students along with making them practical for their future. The department holds record of having alumni with leadership qualities placed in various public and private sectors. The student-teacher ratio of the department is 183:1.
